Why we built it

Generic remote tools were a risk we wouldn't take.

Public remote-access apps are a favorite target for scammers and a blind spot for IT teams. So we blocked them across our organization and replaced them with a purpose-built client that connects only to us, only when you allow it.

Why don't you just use AnyDesk or UltraViewer?

Public remote tools let anyone with a connection ID request access, which makes them a common vector for tech-support scams and a headache to govern. We blocked them across our organization and built Jesto Secure Connect so every connection is controlled, verified, and traceable.

Can someone connect without me knowing?

No. A session can only start once you share the dedicated ID and password from your Jesto Secure Connect app. Without those credentials, no one can connect, and you can see the session while it's active and end it at any moment.

What does the client install on my machine?

A small, lightweight Windows application. It runs only when you launch it for a support session and connects exclusively to our verified support team, never to anyone else.

Is the connection secure?

Yes. Sessions run over an encrypted channel, and each one is logged for accountability. Access ends the instant the session is closed.

Do I need to reinstall it every time?

No, install once. After that, simply open the app whenever you need help and share your dedicated ID and password.
